Leonardo DiCaprio Creates Clothing Line with Jane Goodall

Leonardo DiCaprio, actor and long-term investor into various environmental projects including vegan companies such as Beyond Meat, has launched a collaboration with world renowned ape conservationist Jane Goodall.

DiCaprio announced on Instagram that he has introduced a clothing line called “Don’t Let Them Disappear,” as a collaboration between his non-profit,the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation, and the Jane Goodall Institute, in order to raise funds and promote the protection of chimpanzees and other primates, as well as awareness of the enormous devastation caused by the palm oil industry.

The clothing line, offering organic t-shirts, an organic recycled hoodie, and an eco-fleece crewneck sweatshirt, with the slogan Don’t Let Them Disappear,” is available only for an exclusive two week flash sale, until 16th November.

DiCaprio’s Instagram stated: It is estimated that orangutans have lost over 80% of their habitat in the last 20 years, largely due to fragmentation from the palm oil and wood pulp industries. @leonardodicapriofdn and the @janegoodallinst have teamed up to develop a line of apparel to raise awareness for ape conservation and support teams on the ground working to save this incredible species. All proceeds will benefit ape conservation work by our grantees. Swipe to see the apparel design – link in bio to purchase. Available until 11/16.
