Pittsburgh’s GetGo Café + Market is First US Convenience Store to Offer Impossible Burger 

According to CSNews.com, GetGo Café + Market is the first US convenience store chain to offer the plant-based Impossible Burger. It is now available in six GetGo Pittsburgh-area locations in Carnegie, Southside Works, Monroeville, McKnight Road in the North Hills, Robinson Crossroads and Bridgeville.

Heather Mills’ plantbased company VBites has launched a vegan Omega 3 supplement, called V-mega 3. The Impossible Burger makes its East Coast grocery store debut today in seven states at all 100 Wegmans grocery stores, and two Fairway Markett outlets in Manhattan. Sweet Earth Debuts Awesome Burger & Awesome Grounds

Sweet Earth Foods, a US manufacturer of plantbased products such as frozen burritos, was acquired by Nestlé USA in 2017. Sweet Earth’s Awesome Burger was announced by Nestlé in June and will now be available in stores, quick on the heels of Nestlé’s other subsidiary, Garden Gourmet, releasing the Incredible Burger.

Disney Parks announced in a blog post yesterday that it will begin offering hundreds of plant-based options for its customers at all of its major quick and table service restaurants.
