Fry Family Food: New Vegan Range in 500 Sainsbury’s Stores

The Fry Family Food Co. are vegan food manufacturers founded in 1991 South Africa, and popular throughout Europe, Australia, UK, South Africa, Hong Kong, Singapore and several countries around the southern hemisphere. After recent company growth and expansion into the US, they have now announced the launch of a chilled meat-alternatives line which will be stocked in UK Sainsbury’s stores. The new products include artisan southern-style tenders, chicken-style strips, chargrilled beef-style strips, hearty steak & ale country pie, spicy three bean pasty, artisan chickpea and roasted butternut balls and sausage rolls, and will be available in over 500 Sainsbury’s stores from 10th October. Dominos Trials Vegan Pizza

Pizza delivery giant Dominos has confirmed that they are trialling 100 percent plant-based pizza at a number of unannounced locations. If the trials are successful and feedback positive, it is hoped that they will launch nationwide.

New Vegan Restaurant Guide App Released in France

The vegan restaurant guide “vanilla bean” is launching a new app in France, in collaboration with the French animal rights organisation L214 Éthique&Animaux. The free vanilla bean app will be available from Apple’s App Store and Google Play in France, enabling users to find over 1,000 vegan-friendly locations in France, as well as more in Germany, the US, the UK and beyond. Award-winning restaurant guide vanilla bean and French non-profit organization L214 Éthique & Animaux have teamed up to launch a vegan restaurant guide app in France. OUMPH! Swedish Vegan Frozen Pizza Now Available at Tesco

Following the success of its Italian-style plant-based frozen pizza in Scandinavian countries, OUMPH! is now launching its pizzas in the UK. The vegan organic pizzas with dried tomatoes, rocket, thyme, garlic and plant-based cheese are now available for £3.99 in 179 Tesco stores. OUMPH! is a brand by the Swedish company Food for Progress. It is known for its vegan meat products, which have also been on sale at Tesco for some time and for which it has won several awards. These include Pulled Oumph!, Kebab Spiced and The Chunk. Pizza Express Launches its Own Vegan Pizza

The British restaurant chain Pizza Express will soon be selling its own frozen vegan pizzas via retail outlets. According to the company, the vegan pizza will soon be available in hundreds of supermarkets across the UK, including Waitrose.
