The US snack and candy brand “Seva Foods” has launched “Space Ice Kream”, the world’s first freeze-dried plant-based ice cream. According to Seva Foods, the ice cream should have the rich taste of ordinary ice cream and at the same time be a practical snack for the road.

USA: The vegan food manufacturer Outstanding Foods plans to launch its new plant-based bacon chips from June 2018, with the aim of making them suitable for the mass market.
The first plant-based weight control product has appeared on the US market. An extract from a special type of hop is said to reduce calorie intake by about 20 percent per meal. The product was previously developed and clinically tested in New Zealand for six years by New Zealand’s Plant & Food Research Institute.
