Bravura Foods Director Receives Innovation Award

Co Founder and Director of Bravura Foods, Karl Morris, has been awarded Director of the Year award with the Institute of Directors in the category of Innovation. The IOD Wales awards was attended The Rt Hon Liam Fox MP, Trade Secretary Liam Fox and The Rt Hon Alun Cairns MP, Secretary of State for Wales.

Bravura Foods has also just been awarded for the second year running Best Vegan Distributor in the SME News UK enterprise awards. Now into its eighth year of trading, Bravura Foods distributes brands that include Panda Liquorice, Freedom mallows, Captain Kombucha, Oh My Gutness, Little Miracles and Vegan Bakery. The business also owns the brands Free From Fellows, Peanut Hottie and Lestrin.

Karl commented, “I was naturally delighted to be shortlisted as a finalist but winning the award was beyond special, especially in the innovation category, as this recognised the efforts of the team at Bravura for taking great ideas and turning them into reality and successes in the market. I am extremely proud that we have grown to be the UKs leading vegan and vegetarian sales, marketing and distribution business with growth of 48% last year along with a 45% increase in headcount.”
