The Kellogg Company’s MorningStar Farms brand has announced that many of its Chik’N offerings have been updated and are now vegan, including its Buffalo Wings, Chik’N Nuggets, Buffalo Chik Patties and Original Chik Patties. This is due to consumer demand for more plant-based options.
The US vegetarian brand MorningStar Farms is known for its wide range of plant-based Chik’N products, and is the market leader in plant protein. Earlier this year, the company launched its first vegan burgers, which were very well-received by customers, followed by vegan BBQ Chik’N nuggets. The recipes for the other Chik’N products have now been updated and made vegan.
The new plant-based BBQ-flavoured Chik’N Nuggets are crispy, breaded and produced using only natural colours and flavours. GMO-free soya is used as a protein source. Without compromising on the taste or texture of the alternative meat products, MorningStar Farms is responding to customer demand with its new vegan range.
