More and more people no longer want to buy clothes which animals have died or suffered for. This ethical conviction is shared by a Swiss entrepreneur called Kathrina, who recently founded the vegan start-up WINTERKIND. In her lifestyle store, she sells vegan and sustainable fashion from selected designers and companies.
Kathrina opened her new fashion store a few weeks ago in Horgen, Switzerland. There, her customers can find faux fur and leather shoes, jackets and bags, as well as jewellery, decorative items and art. The founder wants to raise awareness of veganism and show that it is possible to get through life stylishly and inexpensively even without animal products.
Not only are all products in the WINTERKIND range vegan, they are also manufactured under ethically sound working conditions and are affordable to the general public. Any of the products can be viewed on the vegan fashion shop’s website or purchased locally. In addition, background information on the consciously selected small and medium-sized companies and designers is available on the website.
Another supplier of sustainable vegan fashion is Faloa. More information can be found here.
