Beyond Meat announced on 16th November that it has appointed Coca Cola VP and Twitter CFO as board members. The news comes as the company confirms reports that it has filed for a $100 million initial public offering.
Beyond Meat produces the Beyond Sausage, which was listed in The Times this week as one of their 2018 Best Inventions, in addition to a vegan chicken product and their famous Beyond Burger. The company says it has a team of 40 scientists and chefs working to develop new innovations.
Kathy Waller currently serves as Chief Financial Officer and Executive Vice President of The Coca-Cola Company. Ned Segal is the Chief Financial Officer of Twitter.

Beyond Meat filed for IPO last Friday, saying it had applied to list its common stock on the Nasdaq under the symbol “BYND,” with an initial offering of $100 million. In the public filing, the company commented, “Going forward, we intend to continue to invest in innovation, supply chain capabilities, manufacturing and marketing initiatives.”
