California Baby, a global leader in skincare with over 20 years of experience, is introducing a plant-based solution for preservatives in their personal care products.
California Baby was founded with the mission to provide better alternative to baby care products containing chemicals and potential carcinogens, and has been leading the way in natural and organic skincare.
The formula for the new preservative uses basil and anise extracts which are grown in Santa Barbara, California on a 100 acre organic farm. The new formula has received the Certified Biobased Product label from the U.S. Department of Agriculture, which certifies that the product is made of 100%plant-derived renewable source content. The new formula is available from November, starting with California Baby’s Everyday Lotion line which is sold by retail outlets across the Unites States, including Target and Walmart.
