Famous Burger by Odd Burger (CNW Group/Odd Burger Corporation)
Vegan fast food chain Odd Burger reveals it is poised to enhance its market presence with the upcoming launch of three new restaurant locations within the next month.
Additionally, the company announces it has signed a consulting agreement with Ahimsa Foundation, one of the most prominent investors in the vegan industry, notably including a recent investment of USD $16 Million in JUST Egg. As part of the consulting agreement, Odd Burger will issue Ahimsa Foundation 1,500,000 stock options at a price of $0.15.
This latest expansion marks the largest number of openings the company has achieved in a single month, elevating the total to 16 operational sites. The initial opening will take place at 336A Mayfield Common Northwest in Edmonton, anticipated around May 11th, representing Odd Burger’s second venture into Alberta.
Odd Burger states it is next set to debut its first British Columbia location in the heart of downtown Victoria at 790 Fisgard Street, expected to open around May 18th, 2024. The expansion continues with the introduction of Odd Burger’s inaugural Ottawa location at 1050 Bank Street, slated to open around June 1st.
“We are absolutely elated to finally see all of these locations opening after so much hard work from our franchisees, area reps and corporate team members,” says James McInnes, CEO and Co-Founder of Odd Burger. “These sites are all incredibly strategic for us and will give Odd Burger access into key markets right across Canada. We believe they will service a key demographic for us and will open a lot of growth possibilities as new customers get to experience Odd Burger for the first time.”
All grand opening details and final confirmed opening dates will be published on the company’s social media accounts.
