Chilean food technology company NotCo has announced the appointment of Andre Weinmann as new president of its Brazilian operations.
Weinmann brings over 30 years of experience in the retail and consumer goods industry, most recently serving in leadership and strategic roles at major corporations, including Mondelez, one of the world’s largest snack companies, Unilever, Nestle, Purina, and BRF.
“[NotCo] is a global brand that is transforming the market with unlimited potential”
Weinmann’s appointment comes at a time of significant growth for NotCo. The company aims to achieve break-even in the coming years, and Weinmann is tasked with propelling the company towards this strategic goal.
Prior to joining NotCo, Weinmann co-founded KotaKi, a platform connecting manufacturers and wholesalers with smaller retailers. During his tenure, he is credited with significantly increasing sales and expanding the company’s service network.
International growth in 2024
This year alone, NotCo has experienced increased international growth. The company partnered with LATAM Airlines to offer its products on domestic flights in Chile, launched its vegan mac and cheese in Canada, and expanded distribution of its NotMilk Barista and Unsweetened Vanilla products at retailers across the United States. It also recently developed a plant-based turtle soup alternative, showcasing the company’s potential to combat endangered species decline through its AI technology.
“After many years living in the corporate world, I am honored to begin a new stage in my professional journey with NotCo,” said Weinmann in a statement reported by Startups.com.br. “It is a global brand that is transforming the market with unlimited potential, so I face this challenge with great enthusiasm and determination.”
