The Inc. 5000 list is comprised of the fastest-growing private companies in the US, and Sweet Loren’s, an American plant-based sweets company, has made the list for the second year in a row. The Inc. 5000 is a list of America’s most successful companies in one of the most significant sectors of the nation’s economy- independent small businesses.
Making the list is a prestigious honor for any company.
Sweet Loren’s produces cookie dough made with “clean” ingredients that are Non-GMO gluten-free, nut-free and vegan. Available in 10,000 grocery stores throughout the United States, including Kroger and Albertson’s, the company experienced a 300% surge in online sales in recent months due to the pandemic.
Founded by Loren Brill in 2010 and headquartered in New York City, the company ranked number 721 out of 5,000 companies this year. As per the company’s website, Sweet Loren’s is “transforming what it means to be convenient and delicious. Every product we offer — today and tomorrow — is crafted with clean, gluten-free and Non-GMO ingredients. Because everyone deserves delicious food made with love.”
With fewer than 10 employees, the company has experienced a three-year growth rate of 656%. It recently announced the launch of its single-serving edible cookie dough cup available in Publix supermarkets. The product is also available for online shipping.
