We are very happy to announce that this week vegconomist surpassed 20,000 followers on LinkedIn. In recent months, we have seen strong growth on the business network. When analysing the followers, we see that they come from all parts of the world and are mostly decision-makers or co-decision-makers in retail or food industry. Many thanks to all those who follow us, recommend us to others and stay in touch with us.
After a very successful year in 2020, vegconomist was able to continue its visitor growth even further. The numbers increased by 34% since the start of the year. Compared to the same month last year, we have an increase of 73%, resulting in 90.000 unique visitors per month, in the niche of business readers.
Since then, the newsletter also saw a growing rise in popularity among our readers with the number of subscribers increasing by 35% since the beginning of the year, reaching 5.500. Since there is so much happening in the vegan business space, we have increased the frequency of the newsletter to four times a week.
Our readers continue to be from all over the world (a total of 180 countries and territories each month) with the majority coming from North America, as well as North and West Europe.
Vegconomist is thus also becoming an increasingly attractive advertising platform, as people who visit vegconomist.com have been found to be specifically seeking vegan or cell-based business news. Therefore, plant-based campaigns on vegconomist hardly have any scatter loss.
