PB World Expo London to Stage Plant-Based Taste Awards & Plant-Based Startup Competition

This year’s Plant Based World Expo Europe which returns to London Olympia on 30th November-1st December, is to host two exciting award ceremonies: The Plant-Based Taste Awards, created by FoodBev Media, and the Plant-Based Start-Up Competition, in collaboration with Vevolution.

“Attendees at our shows are always eager to meet start-up companies, who often lead the way with innovation.”

The Plant-Based Taste Awards

The Plant-Based Taste Awards is the only plant-based award ceremony in the world to focus solely on the taste of a product, and is set to feature a range of categories, including a new category for 2022 Best Whole Cut Meat Product. Entries are now open, with the winners set announced live on the first day of Plant Based World Expo Europe. The deadline for entries is 7th October 2022.

Jonathan Morley, Managing Director at Plant Based World Europe, comments: “The Plant-Based Taste Awards celebrate the crème de la crème of the plant-based products currently available in the UK and we are delighted to be involved for a second year. The incredible flavours of plant-based foods are so often underestimated, so the awards offer a fantastic opportunity to highlight the range of incredible tasting products on the market. We can’t wait to unveil the winners at the show.”

“We know that it’s harder for smaller businesses to make the decision to invest in exhibiting at an expo, especially with costs going up due to rising inflation. Our partnership with Vevolution will enable one deserving start-up to show off their business at Plant Based World Expo without worrying about the cost of a booth. They will join the other businesses already exhibiting in our Start-Up Zone, as well as a show floor full of leading suppliers including Moving Mountains, La Vie, Heura, Meatless Farm, Oggs and more,” she adds.

Startups can enter their brand via the Vevolution website by visiting https://www.vevolution.com/world-expo-competition before September 23, 2022 at 11:59 PT. The winner will be notified the following week.
