This year’s Plant Based World Expo Europe which returns to London Olympia on 30th November-1st December, is to host two exciting award ceremonies: The Plant-Based Taste Awards, created by FoodBev Media, and the Plant-Based Start-Up Competition, in collaboration with Vevolution.
“Attendees at our shows are always eager to meet start-up companies, who often lead the way with innovation.”

Plant-Based Start-Up Competition
Also taking place at the event will be the Plant-Based Start-Up Competition which is now open for entries, taking place in collaboration with Vevoution. Startups offering 100% plant-based products are able to apply and have their brand judged by a panel of industry experts and professionals.
The winner of the competition will receive an exhibitor booth at the expo, providing the opportunity to show off their brand to retailers, buyers, foodservice professionals, and investors at the largest B2B plant-based event in Europe, as well as a one-on-one meeting with an investor and a one-on-one meeting with a buyer.
Abigail Stevens, Marketing Director at Plant Based World Expo Europe said “We’re delighted to launch this new initiative to support the next generation of plant-based brands. Attendees at our shows are always eager to meet start-up companies, who often lead the way with innovation.”
“We know that it’s harder for smaller businesses to make the decision to invest in exhibiting at an expo, especially with costs going up due to rising inflation. Our partnership with Vevolution will enable one deserving start-up to show off their business at Plant Based World Expo without worrying about the cost of a booth. They will join the other businesses already exhibiting in our Start-Up Zone, as well as a show floor full of leading suppliers including Moving Mountains, La Vie, Heura, Meatless Farm, Oggs and more,” she adds.
Startups can enter their brand via the Vevolution website by visiting https://www.vevolution.com/world-expo-competition before September 23, 2022 at 11:59 PT. The winner will be notified the following week.
