Plant Based World Conference & Expo, taking place on June 7-8, 2019 at the Javits Convention Center in New York City, has added an opening panel to its schedule. The Growth of the Plant-Based Foods Industry will discuss new market opportunities for retailers and food service providers, examples from past success, and coming trends that shape the industry.
The panel will be presented by three of the industry’s experts:
Michele Simon has 20 years of experience in food and beverage law and policy and she is also founder of the Plant Based Food Association, a trade group representing leading plant-based food companies and offering legal advice, among other services.
Ann Beaty, Director of Kroger Merchandising Consulting at 84.51° has been leading projects targeting and capitalising on vegetarian and vegan customers at Kroger.
Edward Brown, President of Restaurant Associates, is one of America’s leading chefs, having worked in some of the most prestigious kitchens in the world and earned numerous New York Times stars and a Michelin star.
Additionally to the opening keynote, Plant Based World Conference & Expo will present The Eat for the Future Business Forum, which is designed to educate professionals from retail, food service and brands.
