NYC Hosts New Class: Fundraising 101 – Vegan Style

LIVEKINDLY has announced the launch of a fundraising class for vegan entrepreneurs with athletic clothing company Lululemon’s HUB seventeen, alongside Class Rebel, an education company dedicated to sharing insights into private investing and fundraising for early stage companies.

As consumers are choosing more ethical, sustainable, and healthier products at an increasing rate, venture capitals are looking to invest in plant-based companies to satisfy this demand for vegan products and services. Brooke Harley came up with the idea of the fundraising class when she noticed that those who were able to raise the most of their capitals were mostly Harvard, Stanford, and Wharton graduates, or exclusive tech accelerators.

To make fundraising more accessible for the ambitious start-ups without access to the educational resources, Harley created the Fundraising 101 class for vegan entrepreneurs. The Fundraising 101 – Vegan Style class will take place on 15 and 16 December at Lululemon’s HUB seventeen, a 3,500-square-foot community space in New York City. The class is aimed at anybody planning or in the progress of building a vegan business. For those not able to attend in person, a call-in option will also be available. Additional classes are planned for 2019 in Los Angeles and the EU.
