A new trade show centred around plant-based products and services has been announced by JD Events. The Plant Based World Conference & Expo (PBW) is taking place June 7-8, 2019 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York City. Focused on plant-based food and lifestyle, the event will also feature three educational conferences, keynote speakers and networking opportunities.
One of the founding partners of PBW is Follow Your Heart, a company that has been creating plant-based dairy and cheese alternatives since the 1970s. Other exhibitors will include 22 Days Nutrition, Good Catch Foods, No Evil Foods, The Jackfruit Company, Algama, Veestro, Vegan Wines, Fat Badger Bakery, Fora Foods, Pan’s Mushroom Jerky, NUMU Vegan Cheese, The Abbot’s Butcher, Pure Batch, Love + Light Nourishing Foods, Juice Plus, Tower Garden, Wild Earth Pet Foods, TIC Gums and Rapid Release Therapy. Additional sponsors include non-profit The Humane Society of the United States, media brand Forks Over Knives and venture capital funds StrayDog Capital and New Crop Capital.
