Informa Markets has announced that registration is now open for Fi Europe 2024, the trade fair described as the “leading global event for food ingredients”.
The event will take place from November 19 to 21 in Frankfurt, Germany, at the Messe Frankfurt exhibition grounds. This year, the Food Manufacturing Technologies & Solutions area will be expanded, giving a larger platform to solutions that aim to make food production future-proof. There will also be a new Pet Food Suppliers’ Hub, presenting ingredients and technologies that could make pet food more nutritious, safe, and innovative.
Several new country pavilions will be introduced in 2024, including Denmark, Thailand, and Latin America. In another first for the event, entry to the Fi Conference will be included in the regular ticket price; visitors will be able to benefit from numerous presentations given by experts, which will highlight the challenges, trends, and technologies in the food and beverage industry.
“The industry never stands still”
The Fi Europe Startup Challenge, which has been taking place since 2016, will also be held this year. The challenge helps startups in the food and beverage industry gain international exposure, build new connections, and receive expert support. Last year’s winners included Arkeon, a company turning CO2 into ultra-sustainable proteins, and cocoa-free chocolate producer WNWN Food Labs. The application process for 2024 opens this month.
