Handtmann, a German manufacturer of food processing technology, will present its latest developments at IFFA 2025 under the theme “The Taste of Innovation.” The company’s exhibition, located in Hall 12.0, Stand C80, will highlight advancements in processing technology for both conventional meat and alternative proteins.
IFFA is the world’s leading trade fair for the meat and alternative proteins industry, held in Frankfurt from May 3 to May 8, 2025. At the fair, Handtmann aims to connect industry professionals with the latest advancements in food processing, providing a platform for collaboration and discussion on the future of alternative protein production.
Spanning approximately 2,200 square meters, the Handtmann stand will serve as an interactive platform for industry professionals. The company plans to showcase new developments in sustainable nutrition, including alternative proteins, cultured meat, and fermentation-based products. Attendees will have access to live demonstrations, expert consultations, and interactive sessions designed to provide insights into customized production solutions.
Focus on innovation and digital integration
Handtmann will present new processing technologies applicable across different scales, from small-scale production to industrial processing. The company will also introduce its latest modular and integrative line solutions, which extend from product preparation to packaging. These systems are supported by in-house digital solutions designed to optimize processing efficiency.
A key feature of the exhibition is the Handtmann Food Innovation Center, which will showcase emerging food trends and provide live demonstrations in a dedicated show kitchen area. Visitors will have the opportunity to observe and taste new alternative protein products developed using Handtmann technology.
Additionally, an exclusive Closed Room experience, titled “Access to the Unexpected,” will offer select visitors an in-depth look at Handtmann’s latest innovations. This session will be facilitated by an interdisciplinary team of experts, offering detailed discussions on new processing solutions.
