World Animal Protection is set to launch its inaugural Dine Vegan Nashville event from June 22 to June 28, 2025. The weeklong celebration aims to promote plant-based dining across Nashville by partnering with local restaurants to offer a variety of vegan dishes.
Participating restaurants
The event is designed to highlight both fully plant-based eateries and those that are incorporating more plant-based options into their menus. Restaurants such as Deep Sea Vegan, Germantown Pub, Sunflower Café, Sunflower Bakehouse, Succulent Vegan Tacos, and The BE Hive are participating in the event, each offering special menu items for the occasion.
The festivities will begin on June 22 with a kick-off event at Deep Sea Vegan’s new location at 121 Oak Valley Dr., Nashville, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. CST. The launch party will feature live music, complimentary vegan samples, and the chance for attendees to engage with the local plant-based community. The first 50 attendees will also receive a free bamboo cutting board.

Drawing attention to Nashville’s plant-based options
During the event, participants can earn a prize by completing a punch card. Each punch card, available at participating restaurants or the kick-off party, requires attendees to purchase one featured vegan item from each of the six restaurants. Once all six punches are collected, the completed punch card can be submitted for a chance to win a prize.
McKenzie Mak, community engagement manager at World Animal Protection, commented, “We are excited to launch Vegan Week in Nashville. The city boasts many incredible eateries, and we’re thrilled to partner with them to draw attention to their plant-based offerings. Industrial animal agriculture is a major contributor to environmental damage, and we hope that by promoting these plant-based dishes, diners and restaurants alike will take steps toward a more sustainable and humane food system.”
