Thrive Causemetics Donates Vegan Cosmetics Worth $25 Million USD

Los Angeles-based cosmetics company Thrive Causemetics will be celebrating its fourth anniversary by donating its vegan and cruelty-free make-up products to women in need across the US. In total, the company plans to donate $25 million worth of merchandise.

CEO Karissa Bodnar founded Thrive in Seattle in 2015. From the beginning, Thrive’s work has focused on giving and collaboration. When Karissa sold her first set of eyelashes, she immediately donated a pair. Since then, the company’s “Beauty with a Purpose” program has ensured that a donation is made for every product sold.

“Everyone who buys a product becomes part of our mission to give something back – and after four years of building a compassionate community, we have created a movement to empower women through beauty,” Bodnar said. “We are proud to work with incredible organizations across the country to bring the power of beauty to every woman, regardless of the challenges they face.”

This gift will benefit over 50 nonprofit organizations for women fighting cancer, experiencing domestic abuse or at risk of homelessness. The beauty brand is also asking members of the #ThriveTribe – Thrive’s enthusiastic customers and supporters – to nominate future recipients.
