Childs Farm, producers of toiletries for babies and children, has announced it has received Cruelty Free International certification for its entire toiletries range. The entire range has also been certified with the Vegan Society logo, except a conditioner and hair detangler, which contain honey, reports Female First.

The brand launched in 2010 to create skincare and haircare products for children which are compliant with the European Commission’s Cosmetics Directive. This means that all products and ingredients are forbidden to involve animal testing of any kind.

Joanna Jensen, Founder and CEO of Child’s Farm said, “Consumers in general are becoming more ethically conscious. We’ve seen a huge increase in the number of our customers asking whether Childs Farm products are tested on animals and whether they are vegan friendly.

“We are happy to announce that we have never tested any of our products on animals and the majority of our products are vegan friendly, and both accreditations will be displayed proudly on our packaging. We are all huge animal lovers at Childs Farm and we are proud to be supporting Cruelty Free International in their mission to end the animal testing of cosmetics globally.”
