• Vans Released Vegan Shoes for Endangered Animals

Popular American skate footwear brand Vans has just launched a line of vegan shoes in collaboration with the WildAid charity. The shoes depict 13 endangered species with the aim of raising awareness, and use sustainable materials including 100% recycled packaging.

Vans has pledged to donate $10K to the charity. WildAid CEO Peter Knights commented, “We hope these vivid depictions of the world’s most imperilled species can help inspire the change we need to save them.”

2019 has so far seen the launch of vegan shoes from several mainstream brands including Topshop, Reebok, Hugo Boss, Marks & Spencer amongst others. PETA’s website contains a comprehensive list of vegan friendly options from several popular fashion stores, which can be seen here.
