Lime Crime Expands to the UK with Vegan Cosmetics

The vegan beauty market is booming. According to various market reports, 3.5 million consumers from Great Britain and 1.6 million from the USA alone have opted for vegan cosmetics in the past, and an annual growth rate of 6.3 percent in this segment is expected for the future. The American beauty brand Lime Crime is also producing vegan products, and is now expanding into the UK, having been certified as vegan by PETA and cruelty-free by Leaping Bunny.

Lime Crime is also known as “The makeup for unicorns”, because it offers a huge range of colours and makes it possible to “Dive into a magical world”, according to the company. The brand offers a range of products, from lipsticks and eye shadow palettes to unicorn hair colours. Expansion into the UK is now the next strategic step. Beauty brands such as Lush, The Body Shop and Superdrug have demonstrated how successful vegan cosmetics can be.
