According to various market reports, 3.5 million consumers from Great Britain and 1.6 million from the USA alone have opted for vegan cosmetics in the past, and an annual growth rate of 6.3 percent in this segment is expected for the future. The American beauty brand Lime Crime is also producing vegan products, and is now expanding into the UK, having been certified as vegan by PETA and cruelty-free by Leaping Bunny.
