The American start-up Sapona has launched a new handmade, vegan and cruelty-free skincare line in the USA. The new product line includes vegan lip and body scrubs, body lotions, soaps, bath salts and fragrances.
“At Sapona, beauty is much more than just skincare. We believe that we should treat our environment and our fellow human beings with the same respect and friendliness with which we treat each other,” the company says.
Unlike many competitors, all Sapona products are paraben-free. “Sapona takes consumer health very seriously and that is why we have formulated every item in our collection to contain only paraben-free ingredients,” it says on its website.
“We use only the highest-quality natural ingredients in each of our products to minimize the likelihood of allergens and contaminants, so animal testing is not necessary to provide our customers with a safe and high-quality product,” the company adds.
