Sanikai is Switzerland’s first vegan and ethical fashion label, offering “style & quality” in a sustainable framework.
The company, founded in 2015 in Zurich, has already won PETA Germany’s 2016 Vegan Fashion Award. The name “Sanikai” comes from Sanaz and Kai, the names of the label’s designers. Sanikai is based on a future-oriented thesis which Sanaz wrote whilst studying for her diploma.
The clothes are designed in Zurich and made in compliance with Swiss standards by a family business in Lugano. The high-quality materials are either from organic farms, from recycled products or from Swiss producers. Only certified organic cotton, organic linen, hemp, recycled PET bottles or pure Swiss cotton waste are used.
The designers create two collections a year, which can be worn in all seasons.
