Bol Foods Introduces New Meals in Eco-Friendly Packaging

Vegan ready meal brand Bol Foods has introduced a new selection on plant-based meals, which come in sustainable packaging made from bio-plastic.

The new 100% recyclable packaging is made from 95% sugarcane and 5% plastic.

The new meals include Bang Bang Sweet Potato Katsu Curry, Fire Roasted Cauliflower Tikka Masala, Soulful Tomato & Lentil Ragu Linguine, and Ultimate Shepherd’less Lentil Pie, containing 10-15g protein per portion and providing up to three of the five-a-day.

The last year has been an eventful time for Bol Foods: after it dropped meat and fish from its products in 2017, it also ditched dairy and became completely plant-based last summer. Bol was one of the 14 start-ups and SMEs chosen for Tesco’s incubator programme last year and only last month Bol became the first vegan brand to join Deliveroo.

The new range is available in Sainsbury’s and Whole Foods Market now.
