Deliveroo Hong Kong, as several other home delivery services and ecommerce platforms, has seen a rise of success since the pandemic began. The online service now also reveals that demand for plantbased menu options has increased dramatically with the number of partnering restaurants offering vegan dishes surging from 80 to 266.
As reported by MarketingInteractive, this month has seen a year-on-year growth of 104% for vegan options at Deliveroo Hong Kong, leading it to expand its healthy and sustainable food options, and to partner with more vegan restaurants in the city to make more meat-free dishes, in a perfect demonstration of vegan supply and demand in action.
“There has never been a better time for healthy eating in Hong Kong, whether you’re a full-time vegan or a part-time plant-based food fan. It’s clear that Hongkongers have a taste for more vegan options, and Deliveroo is more than happy to oblige as we’re always looking to innovate and provide more diverse takeaway eating options on our platform,” commented Deliveroo Hong Kong’s general manager Brian Lo.
