Goodfella’s Pizza Collaborate With VBites for New Vegan Frozen Pizza

One of the best-selling frozen pizza companies in the UK, Goodfella’s, has announced this week the launch of its second vegan pizza to be sold in major British supermarkets, including Tesco and Sainsburys. Following on from the success of the cheese-less falafel pizza in 2018, Goodfella’s has now partnered with VBites to launch the Stonebaked Spicy Vegetable Salsa pizza.

VBites, a British company owned by Heather Mills, claims on its website that it is the world’s leading manufacturer of meat-free, vegan meat substitutes. Vegconomist reported in February this year that VBites has launched a range of plant-based cheeses; these will be suppled as the toppings for the new Goodfella’s pizza.

Talking about the decision to add a new cheesy vegan pizza to the range, Brand Manager ay Goodfella’s, Alex Brown, spoke in a statement to Vegan Food & Living: “We have partnered with V bites on the vegan cheese, and we are very pleased by the final result. We knew that our next vegan extension needed to have vegan cheese on it, to ensure we were appealing to the ever-growing vegan shopper. However, we also wanted to add spice and exciting ingredients onto this product, which we hope we have achieved.”
