British vegans will no doubt welcome the news that the dessert company GÜ has launched three new puddings in all the leading supermarkets across the UK. The vegan cheesecakes, which are also gluten-free, are available in Asda, Co-Op, Morrison’s, Waitrose, Tesco and Sainsbury’s from March 18th 2019.
Gü launched in 2003 and has a reputation for delivering high end desserts packaged in ramekins. The brand is highly popular in the UK, and this new line is a testament to the strength of veganism in the UK.
The new desserts are Spanish Lemon Cheesecakes, Strawberry & Rhubarb Cheesecakes, and Chocolate & Vanilla Cheesecakes. The glass ramekin packaging makes them plastic free, and they can be reused be consumers who can then make their own recreations of the desserts at home.
“Lovingly created by Gü Head Chef, Fred Ponnavoy, this line-up is a game-changer for those free-from pleasure seekers who should not have to compromise on taste,” said a Gü representative.
