According to Las Vegas-based blog, Vegans, Baby, Evel Pie announces the launch of its new vegan menu, Flower Power, in time for Veganuary. The menu includes five pizzas served with Follow Your Heart cheese, Chicken Fingers, the Hippie Flip Salad, and Blake’s Cider. All items will be available beginning Thursday, January 16, at a pre-launch party.
To taste the new menu before its public release, tickets to the party are available through Eventbrite for $25 per person. Tickets include items from the new menu and a cider or non-alcoholic beverage.
A portion of the proceeds benefit Street Dogz, a Vegas organization that helps people without homes, or in need, avoid surrendering their pets because of a lack of resources.
Old-school pizzeria Evel Pie was created by Branden Powers and is operated in partnership with Evel Knievel’s estate, and son Kelly. The pizza joint has a rock ‘n’ roll vibe and features the world’s most extensive Evel Knievel memorabilia collection, which includes motorcycles, statues, and an Evel Knievel pinball machine.
