On Saturday there will be another Beyond Meat Burger action at Lidl Germany. The company writes about this in a press release:
“After the successful debut of the Beyond Meat Burger in food retailing at Lidl, the company reacted immediately to the very high demand and did everything in its power to be able to offer the popular Burger Patties again quickly. With success: From 15 June, the meat-free and soya-free alternative made from pea protein and beetroot will be available for the second time as a promotional product in all 3,200 stores. Since the manufacturer can only supply the coveted article in limited quantities, however, stocks are limited in every store. The Burger Patties are available in 227-gram twin packs for 4.99 euros.
“Unfortunately, we can only offer a limited number of Beyond Meat burgers this time, which will probably be sold out quickly due to the high demand. But it was important to us to bring the currently available amount of Beyond Meat Burger back to our stores as soon as possible. In close cooperation with the supplier, we were able to do this in a very short time,” explains Jan Bock, Purchasing Manager at Lidl Germany. “As a result, Lidl customers don’t have to wait so long for the meat alternative, but should be quick again to get their hands on it. We can already tell all the fans: We’re already working on more actions with the Beyond Meat Burger.”
