Today in New York City, Miyoko’s Creamery is giving away 400 vegan grilled cheese sandwiches at the Melt Shop on Union Square. The plant-based sandwiches are available beginning at 3 p.m. EST on a first-come, first-serve basis while supplies last.
The pop-up event will introduce Miyoko’s new vegan Cheddar cheese, which melts and tastes like the dairy version. The cheese will launch in grocery stores this spring.
The Melt Shop, located at 135 4th Avenue, NYC 10003, is known for its menu of comfort food which includes grilled sandwiches served on fresh-baked bread, tater tots, and milkshakes.
