Sweet Earth Foods announces the addition of thirteen new plant-based products to its vegetarian/vegan meat alternative line to coincide with the Natural Products Expo West, which was due to begin today but has now been postponed. The release of the new products is planned for this Spring/Summer.
The new items include:
- Plant-Based Deli Slices include cholesterol-free Oven Roasted Turkey, Black Forest Ham, and Italian Style Pepperoni and will be merchandised next to traditional deli meat products.
- Three new flavors of sausage include Green Chile Chedd’r made with vegan cheese, Ginger Scallion, and Chik’n Apple. The links are non-GMO, cruelty-free, and contain no cholesterol or antibiotics.
- Jerkies are made with seitan with globally inspired flavors and spices and include Sweet Korean BBQ, Zesty Pizza, and Spicy Kung Pao. All are free of cholesterol, nitrates, and antibiotics.
- The artisan Entrée Bowls contain the brand’s newest plant-based proteins, including Mindful Chik’n and Awesome Grounds. The flavors include Kung Pao Chik’n, Chik’n Fajita, Mongolian Beefless, and Pasta Puttanesca bowls. All contain 14-15g of protein and 5g of fiber each.
