New Kombucha Cultured “Kofu” Fish Alternatives

In time for Veganuary, organic vegan brand Bonsan has launched four new products to its plant-based offerings. The company, whose slogan is “Absolutely Vegan,” has a mission to “break down the ‘us and them’ divide” and to create “food that’s exciting and accessible, vegan and organic.”

Two new products have joined Bonsan’s kombucha cultured tofu range, Kofu Classic and Kofu Ragu chunks. Kofu Classic is a firm and plain version of tofu and can be used in a wide variety of dishes, such as curries, stir fries, enchiladas, and more. Kofu Ragu Chunks are coated in an aromatic spiced tomato marinade and can be added to stews, bolognese, fajitas, and tacos, to name a few.

Bonsan has also introduced two plant-based fish alternatives to its range. The ethical and environmentally-friendly Fishfree Kofu Fillet and FishFree Kofu Tofuna are also made using kombucha cultured tofu, making these products versatile, protein-rich, nutritious, and healthy alternative to fish.

The new products are available from Whole Foods Market and health food shops across the UK.
