Taco Del Mar Adds the Beyond Meat Taco Nationwide Today

Following its successful test launch earlier this year, Taco Del Mar has announced that it is rolling out its new Beyond Meat® Taco across all locations beginning today. The Beyond Meat plant-based protein is now on its current vegetarian and vegan menu for a limited time.

The Beyond Meat Taco features Beyond Beef® Feisty Crumbles sautéed with medium chipotle salsa, diced onions, and minced serrano peppers. Topped with shredded cheddar and Monterey jack cheese, shredded lettuce, pico de gallo, and jalapeños, it is served on warm corn tortillas. When ordered without cheese, the Tacos are vegan-friendly.  The Beyond Meat can also be ordered in Taco Del Mar’s burritos, enchiladas, taco salads, or quesadillas.

Customers who tasted the Beyond Meat during the test period gave positive reviews of the flavor and quality of the plant-based taco. Feedback included:
