VEDGECO, the “Vegan CostCo” Extends its Bulk Plant-Based Delivery Service to Mainland US

Plantbased delivery service VEDGEco, which offers a huge range of alt meat products and has been referred to as the “Vegan CostCo, ” sets out to make plantbased more affordable by offering vegan products in bulk at reasonable prices, and the orders (foodservice or consumer) are even deliverable within 1-2 working days.

Over the last year, VEDGEco supplied Hawaii with plant-based foods in bulk and the firm has just started its new online store, serving the 48 states of the continental United States, starting off with 10 items from well-known plant-based brands, including Field Roast, Beyond Meat, Plant Ranch, Alpha Foods, Light Life, Impossible Foods, All Vegetarian, Daiya and JUST. The company is planning to add new items every month and offers its service to restaurants and caterers, but also to end consumers.

The company’s portfolio is dedicated to products from 100% plant-based brands. Orders will be delivered frozen and in 1-2 business days nationwide, packaged in foam-free insulation and dry ice with as little environmental impact as possible.

VEDGEco Co-founder and CEO Trevor Hitch emphasizes the advantages of his business model in a statement for VEGWORLD Magazine, saying that “buying plant-based foods in bulk will save our customers a great deal of money. The added convenience of having these products shipped directly to their doors within 1-2 business days will make it easier than ever for every American to try a plant-based diet or add plant-based alternatives to their menu.”
