Chunk Foods has unveiled its newest foodservice partnership, this time collaborating with Neat Burger, a vegan fast-casual restaurant headquartered in London UK. The centerpiece of this collaboration is the Chunk Steak Sandwich, now available exclusively at Neat Burger’s Nolita location in the heart of Manhattan.
This partnership represents a significant step forward for Chunk Foods, as it marks the introduction of Chunk Steak to the fast-casual dining landscape.

Founder and CEO of Chunk Foods, Amos Golan, expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration, stating, “We’re thrilled to partner with Neat Burger to introduce the Chunk Steak Sandwich. This marks a milestone as Chunk steak becomes available at a fast-casual dining establishment for the first time.”
The Nolita location opened earlier this year, making it the first Neat Burger in the United States. Further, after raising $18 million in a Series B round in May, the chain plans to open 30 additional locations worldwide over the next few years, including in Italy and the Middle East. CEO and co-founder of Neat Burger, Zack Bishti, commented, “New Yorkers have good taste and strong opinions, and we’ve been thrilled to see customers continually return.”
Chunk Foods also raised $15 million earlier this year to begin scaling whole-cut plant-based steak and has since secured partnerships with Willow Bistro in NYC and Charley’s Steak House in Florida. Celebrity investors, including Robert Downey Jr., Lewis Hamilton, and Leonardo DiCaprio have backed both Neat Burger and Chunk Foods, supporting the expansion of its meat alternatives into restaurants across the United States.

The Chunk Steak Sandwich sandwich is made using sliced Chunk Filet combined with blue cheese, cilantro chipotle sauce, and caramelized onions, all served on an artisan roll. It is nutrient-dense, made from cultured soy and wheat, fortified with B12 and iron. Golan added, “Crafted from simple, clean ingredients, the Chunk steak served in this sandwich offers over 25g of protein without cholesterol, preservatives, additives, binders, or thickeners. We’re excited to bring our delicious product to even more people!”
The Chunk Steak Sandwich is priced at $19.99 and has been available since Monday, September 18, 2023.
