Argentine Company Vegan Nature Invests USD $250.000 in New Production Plant

Argentinian plant-based food production company, Vegan Nature, has announced the opening of its new production plant, worth $20 million pesos (approximately 250,000 US dollars), in the town of San Martín, some 20 kilometres from the capital of Buenos Aires.

Founded in 2011, this marks the company’s third own production facility. According to the Argentine newspaper Clarín, its production of cheese and ice cream, frozen foods, medallions and nuggets grew by 72% between 2018 and 2019. By 2021 it has projected annual revenues of some 200 million Argentine pesos (USD $2.5 million).

The family business also operates under its own brand name, Nuestra Casa Vegana, although it has additional brands in its portfolio, such as Green Think – almond and chestnut milk ice cream, and Augusta – cheeses based on cashew and chestnuts.
