MULTIVAC Introduces New Traysealer Model Range With TX 6 Series Launch

Compact, versatile, and networked: the new MULTIVAC traysealers are said to provide outstanding performance while making exceptionally efficient use of the available production space.

Like the high-performance TX 7 and TX 8 series, the space-saving new additions to the MULTIVAC portfolio also offer everything that customers can expect from a forward-looking generation of machines, also in terms of reliability, ease of operation and hygiene, according to the company.

The compact traysealers are designed to reduce the current challenges and the associated cost explosions. Because: “Thanks to their small footprint, they make a targeted contribution to increasing performance in the smallest of spaces – and do so sustainably, flexibly and above all cost-effectively,” emphasizes Franziska Schreiber, Product Manager at MULTIVAC. The packaging specialist thus completes its range in the TX class, which began with the fully automatic TX 710 in 2019.

Developed for a wide range of applications with fast product changeovers and high cycle performance, the new models come with intelligent machine and line control, and the highest hygiene standards. Thanks to their compact design, they can also be easily integrated into a wide variety of production environments – and can also be designed as a two-track solution for even greater efficiency.

Compared to the previous TX series available on the market, the TX 6 series has been completely redesigned with the aim of creating a compact, cost-efficient solution. “Design language, functionalities and application areas, on the other hand, are based on the big brothers, i.e. the 7 and 8 series,” emphasizes Franziska Schreiber. What distinguishes the TX 610 from the TX 620 is essentially the machine length and the usable size of the mould.

Sustainability

The compact tray sealers have been consistently trimmed for sustainability: on the one hand, their long service life is an important factor in this context, and on the other hand, depending on the application, the use of compressed air or cooling water is completely eliminated, which actively contributes to the conservation of resources.

Without restriction, the machines can process trays made of different materials, such as plastic, paper-based or fibre-based materials. The range of applications extends from “sealing only” to MAP packaging and the production of MultiFresh packs.

The new TX 620 will be presented for the first time at interpack 2023 as the core element of a compact line solution on MULTIVAC’s main stand A23 in Hall 5. For more information, visit www.multivac.com.
