A new market research report by “World Wide Market Reports” called “Plant-based Food Emulsifiers Market – Size, Share, Outlook, and Forecast till 2026” shows detailed forecasts for the market for plant-based food emulsifiers through to 2026, with the report generally assuming significant growth in this market during the forecast period.

The study provides, amongst other things, information on the various reasons and drivers that will contribute to the positive development of the market. These include, for example, increasing consumption of purely plant-based foods and, as a result, the growing demand for plant-based raw materials and ingredients. The report states that changing eating and consumption habits as a result of the rapidly growing global vegan movement are significantly increasing demand.

Furthermore, consumers worldwide are becoming increasingly health-conscious. Animal and synthetic emulsifiers have been criticised in the past for their negative effects on health. According to a study by Georgia State University, they are understood to increase the risk of bowel cancer.
