OmniFoods & 7-Eleven Hawaii Launch Plant-Based Katsu Musubi

7-Eleven Hawaii has partnered with plant-based meat brand OmniFoods to launch a plant-based version of the Japanese dish katsu musubi. The product is made with OMNI Luncheon, a high-fiber plant-based pork alternative made from soy, wheat, and beets. The meat alternative is prepared katsu-style and placed on rice, before being wrapped in nori. Oatly Barista to Roll Out at Coffee Machines in 390 Swedish Convenience Stores

Swedish consumers will soon be able to enjoy coffee made with Oatly Barista at almost 400 convenience stores across the country. Thanks to an expanded partnership with Reitan, one of the region’s leading retail companies, the oat milk will roll out at coffee machines in around 300 Pressbyrån stores and 90 7-Eleven locations. Oatly and Reitan have been collaborating since 2011, when the latter’s convenience stores began stocking Oatly products on their shelves. Around ten million coffees are sold each year at Reitan-operated locations, so the partnership has huge potential for Oatly. Canada’s Wamame Foods announces it is launching its ultra-premium Waygu™ plant-based meat strips in 7-Eleven Canada locations nationwide. JUST Egg announces 7-Eleven Canada is launching a new, 100% plant-based breakfast sandwich across its stores. The Plant-Based Breakfast Sandwich with Impossible Sausage is now available 24/7 at participating 7-Eleven locations nationwide. Made with Impossible Sausage, JUST Egg, and melted Violife Cheddar inside a toasted English muffin, the sandwich is described as an option for both “vegan lovers and flexitarians” that offers 18 grams of plant-based protein. OmniPork Ready Meals Now in 800 7-Eleven Stores in Hong Kong and Macau

7-Eleven Hong Kong is rolling out two of the plant-based OmniEat ready-to-eat meals by OmniFoods – Spicy Thai Basil OmniPork with Jasmine Rice and Thai OmniPork Stir-Fried Noodles, both selling at a limited offer and priced at HKD30 per pack.   Spicy Thai Basil OmniPork with Jasmine Rice contains high-protein OmniPork and half a cup of vegetables including basil, onions, asparagus and beans. It is low-fat, low-saturated fat and free of cholesterol, MSG and preservative. Meanwhile, Thai OmniPork Stir-Fried Noodles pairs calcium and iron-rich kale with the high-protein and low-fat OmniPork.   Both of the OmniEat ready-to-eat meals are available in 800 of 7-Eleven outlets across Hong Kong and Macau starting 14 October.
