Abbot’s Products Now Available in Over 1,300 Publix Stores in the Southeastern US

Abbot’s, formerly known as Abbot’s Butcher, a company specializing in plant-based proteins, has announced its retail expansion into Publix supermarkets, increasing the availability of its products in the American grocery sector. Over 1,300 Publix locations across eight states will now stock Abbot’s product lineup, including plant-rich “Chorizo”, Ground “Beef”, and Fajita Chick’n. These offerings will be located in the produce department at all Publix supermarkets across the Southeastern US, including Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, and Florida. Casual chain Tocaya Modern Mexican, a Mexican concept chain with over 20 locations in California and Arizona, launches plant-based Chopped Chick’n made by Abbot’s Butcher across all menus as a suggested protein pairing for many of Tocaya’s dishes as well as a protein option for any entrée. Premium plant-based meat brand Abbot’s Butcher announces a new partnership with Protein Bar and Kitchen, a healthy fast-casual chain based in Chicago. Freebirds World Burrito has announced the chain is adding Abbot’s Butcher plant-based chorizo to its 70+ locations.   The burrito chain is offering the chorizo as an option for any of its customizable menu items, including the signature Freebirds monster and double monster burritos.
