Amazon Fresh Launches Plant-Based Ready Meal Range in the UK

Amazon Prime subscribers in the UK can now order a selection of plant-based ready meals via the grocery delivery service Amazon Fresh. The range includes Thai Red Butternut Squash Curry, Dhal Vegetable Bowl, Tofu Gochujang with Jasmine Rice, and Plant Based Mac & Cheez. According to Amazon, the ready meals are guaranteed to stay fresh for at least two days. Coming in at between £3 and £4, the meals are also a fairly affordable choice, with free delivery offered on orders over £40. However, Amazon Fresh is only available in some postcodes. Else Nutrition Launches on Amazon Canada Following 84% Growth on Amazon US

Else Nutrition began sales on Amazon Canada yesterday as part of the company’s Canadian market launch announced this June. Else reports that, in its Q2 2022 financial results, sales increased by 84% quarter-on-quarter and the number of regular subscribers on the platform doubled from 1,000 to nearly 2,000. UNLIMEAT, a Korean alternative meat brand, is launching sales for its plant-based jerky on Amazon. The debut comes about a month after the jerky’s highly successful Kickstarter campaign, which hit 1,035% of its original funding goal in a single month. Amazon Fresh Debuts 15 New Plant-Based Meat and Dairy Products

Amazon Fresh, a grocery pickup and delivery service, is launching its own plant-based range featuring over a dozen vegan meat and dairy items.  The Fresh Plant-Based brand is an expansion of Amazon’s Fresh private label, and includes Italian meatballs, chick’n nuggets, meatless patties, sausage and almond milks, reports Store Brands.  According to Amazon, the new products were thoroughly tested to ensure they meet customers’ expectations for taste and quality, and all offer healthy nutritional benefits. Amazon Vegan Product Sales Increase by 61% in the UK

Amazon vegan product sales surge in the UK as interest in plant-based lifestyles reaches an all-time high. Amazon UK has reported that the number of vegan options available on its site has grown by 23% since 2020. Additionally, sales of plant-based products have increased by 61% year on year. Plant milks have seen a particularly large boost in popularity, with Oatly’s Original and Barista flavours coming out on top.
