THIS Partners With BrewDog for “Europe’s First” Skin-On Vegan Chicken Wings

THIS, a UK-based producer of hyper-realistic meat alternatives, has launched what are claimed to be Europe’s first skin-on vegan chicken wings in partnership with brewery and pub chain BrewDog. The wings are made from soy and pea protein, combined with THIS’ olive oil-based fat technology. They are coated with a crispy seaweed-based “skin”, emulating the taste and texture of conventional chicken wings for an “unparalleled sensory experience”. While most chicken alternatives mimic white meat, THIS claims that the product is the first product to replicate darker cuts such as wings and thighs, which offer a different texture. Quorn Launches Q-Dog Pie With BrewDog & Vegan Football Team Forest Green Rovers

Quorn Launches Vegan Beer Collaboration with BrewDog

Vegan protein leader Quorn has released a new collaboration with UK beer producer BrewDog. Claiming to take the meat-free experience to the next level, the new beer has been made to pair with Quorn’s alt meat products and promote sustainable food and drink production, with BrewDog being the UK’s first carbon-negative brewery. The new Quorn and BrewDog beer is a tribute to the UK’s leading meat-free brand and comprises a 5.1% ABV. The brands claim the golden Mexican Vienna Lager has a medium-body mouth feel, low bitterness with toasty breadcrumb notes and citrus aromas. Next Gen Foods is launching TiNDLE in restaurants across the UK as of this month. The Singapore-based food tech is rolling out its flagship alt chicken product TiNDLE in over 50 locations nationwide including a pop-up shop in London. BrewDog and The Vegan Kind Collaborate to Launch Vegan Pale Ale

Online vegan supermarket and subscription box service The Vegan Kind has joined forces with Scottish brewer BrewDog to launch a vegan pale ale. The recipe combines sultana and Columbus hops with Vienna malts, for a 5.5% ale flavoured with citrus, pineapple, and pine. The beer comes in 330ml cans featuring The Vegan Kind’s logo alongside BrewDog’s regular branding.
