Cauldron Foods Announces Colourful Rebrand and New Plant-Based Products

UK meat-free brand Cauldron Foods (not to be confused with Australian fermentation company Cauldron) has announced a full rebrand with updated packaging, as well as a selection of new plant-based products. This includes two new vegetable-based centre-plate options — Spinach & Carrot Veggie Bakes and Pumpkin & Caramelised Onion Veggie Bakes — which will debut at Asda from April 4, followed by Tesco and Waitrose. Additionally, Cauldon is introducing a new Extra Firm Tofu block, launching at Asda from April 8 and then at Sainsbury’s. Cauldron Secures AUD$10.5M in One of Australia’s Biggest Female-Founded Seed Rounds

Australian precision fermentation company Cauldron (not Cauldron Foods of the UK), has raised AUD$10.5 million to develop, prove, and commercially scale new food, feed, and fibre ingredients to make alt dairy, meat, and biodegradable materials.  Founded in 2022 by precision fermentation expert Michele Stansfield and headquartered in Orange, New South Wales, Cauldron says the raise is one of Australia’s largest seed rounds for a female-founded company. Cauldron Foods Makes Entire Range Vegan in Time for Veganuary

UK-based vegetarian brand Cauldron Foods has removed eggs from the recipes of its Lincolnshire and Cumberland sausages. This means that all Cauldron Foods products are now fully vegan, as the remainder of the range — which includes falafels and tofu — is already free of animal products. Cauldron Foods Adds Two New Flavoured Tofu Products to Popular Range

UK’s Cauldron Foods has extended its bestselling range with the launch of two new tofu products: Quick & Tasty Smoky BBQ Block and Hoisin Tofu. The new SKUs, developed by Senior Development Chef Stu Henshall, are reportedly made with sustainable soy and come with 100% recyclable packaging. Cauldron Foods Goes Carbon Neutral Across Full Range Following £3M Investment

As part of a £3 million investment and a full packaging and brand relaunch, British heritage plant-based brand Cauldron Foods has announced its new carbon-neutral certification. According to the company, Cauldron will be the first UK meat-free brand to achieve carbon neutrality for its entire range of products from January 2022. Working with ClimatePartner, Cauldron Foods is committing to several measures to avoid, reduce and offset emissions. The latter will be achieved via certified carbon offsetting projects to attain complete carbon neutral certified status. The move comes alongside a full packaging and range relaunch for the Monde Nissin-backed brand.
