Chobani Launches New Oat and Pumpkin Drink for Fall Season

Chobani introduces Chobani Oatmilk Pumpkin Spice, a pumpkin flavored oat drink made from whole-grain oats. The product is vegan-friendly, a good source of calcium, dairy, and lactose-free, and designed as a beverage for the fall season, for which it is also bringing back the pumpkin-flavored Chobani Oat Coffee Creamer.  Chobani filed for IPO in 2021. Chobani Says “It Does Not Make Sense to Be in the Dairy Milk Business at This Time”

Chobani, a leading dairy foods brand, has ended production of its latest line of dairy milk products after less than three months. The US yogurt brand will return focus to its key product lines, including its growing range of oat-based milks and other plant-based products.   Chobani gained fame across North America for popularizing Greek yogurt, however, in recent years it has expanded into new markets including oat milk, oat-based yogurt, plant-based coffee creamers, and vegan probiotic drinks. The company recently launched a new dairy product line, Chobani Ultra-Filtered Milk, but has now dropped it. Impossible Foods CEO Pat Brown Steps Down; Former Chobani Exec Will Take New Role

Pat Brown, the trailblazing scientist who founded Impossible Foods a decade ago, announces he is stepping down as the company’s CEO.  Former Chobani COO Peter McGuinness will take over as chief executive on April 4, Brown stated in a letter posted online.  Despite the changes, Brown says he will stay on with the company as its Chief Visionary Officer and director of the board. The transition is necessary, Brown wrote, because of the increasing difficulty balancing Impossible’s business operations with strategy and innovation.  Brown wrote: “As Impossible’s business has grown in size, scale and complexity, the demands of that business have increasingly encroached on the time I have available to lead strategic initiatives; to communicate our mission to the public and policy-makers; and most importantly, to guide …

Chobani, a leading dairy foods brand, has announced the launch of Chobani Plant-Based Coffee Creamers. Canadian Coffee Chain Tim Hortons Adds Chobani Oat Milk to 4,000 Locations Tim Hortons, Canada’s largest quick-service restaurant chain, announced Chobani oat milk is now available across the company’s 4,000 Canadian locations. US Yogurt Maker Chobani Files for Expected $10Bn IPO Following 14% Sales Increase 

Greek yogurt maker Chobani has filed for an IPO and will trade on the Nasdaq under the ticker symbol CHO, with the equity sale expected to value the business at over $10 billion. The New York-based company has been moving increasingly into alt dairy with a selection of plant-based offerings along with its conventional lines.  Meaning shepherd in Turkish, Chobani was founded in 2005 by Hamdi Ulukaya, a Turkish immigrant to the US who bought an old yogurt plant with a small loan. The company revealed its finances for the first time in its filing for an IPO, showing a nearly 14% jump in net sales. Chobani Considers IPO of $7-10 Billion For a Plant-Based Future 

After moving into plant-based products over recent years, US yogurt producer Chobani LLC, is considering an IPO later this year, with plans to be at the forefront of the rapidly growing dairy alternative market. The move mirrors others from major dairy product players with an eye on the expanding plant-based market.  Having previously launched oat-based drinks and blends, Chobani, the company said to have made Greek yogurt mainstream, last year released dairy-free yogurts and vegan probiotic drinks.
