Veganuary: Germany’s National Rail Company Deutsche Bahn to Serve Happy Ocean Foods’ Shrymp & Tuna

Munich startup Happy Ocean Foods, producer of a popular line of soy-based shrimp as well as a recently added line of vegan tuna, announces a cooperation with the country’s national rail operator Deutsche Bahn to offer both products aboard its nationwide trains for Veganuary 2024. In addition to Deutsche Bahn, the restaurant chain L’Osteria is also working with Happy Ocean Foods for Veganuary across Germany. The chain, which operates 157 locations in eight countries, with over 6,000 employees in the DACH region, the UK, France, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, and the Czech Republic, also offers vegan tuna made by fellow German brand BettaF!sh. Oatly’s Soft Serve Launching at All Deutsche Bahn Lounges Across Germany

Oatly today announces a partnership with Deutsche Bahn (DB), one of the largest railway companies in Europe, to offer Oatly soft serve for the first time in all 16 DB lounges across Germany.  Oatly and Deutsche Bahn initially collaborated in 2022 by making Oatly Barista Edition the first-ever plant-based milk to be served on all Deutsche Bahn ICE and Intercity trains. LikeMeat Partners With Germany’s Rail Company Deutsche Bahn for Veganuary

A year after its Veganuary campaign with Rammstein, plant-based meat brand LikeMeat announces that for this Veganuary it has a new partner at its side in the form of national rail company Deutsche Bahn. Vegan meals are already offered in the on-board restaurants and on-board bistros of German long-distance transport. This year, Deutsche Bahn will participate in Veganuary for the first time and expand its range of purely plant-based dishes for the month of January. “In January, we combine climate-friendly travel and sustainable nutrition. Oatly is First Ever Plant-Based Milk on Germany’s National Train Line

Oatly Group, the world’s largest oat drink company, recently announced a comprehensive collaboration with Deutsche Bahn (DB). From 1 January 2022, the oat drink Oatly Barista became available in the onboard catering of ICE and Intercity trains as its first-ever plant-based milk. The Oatly Barista oat drink will initially be offered as a supplement to Fairtrade-certified filter coffee and Caffè Crema. Deutsche Bahn is one of the largest railway companies in Europe. In total, approximately 9.5 million cups of coffee and coffee specialities were sold in 2019.; of the 9.5 million cups, around 5.6 million were filter coffee and Caffè Crema.
