Ivy Farm and Finnebrogue Partner to Bring Cultivated Wagyu Beef to the UK  

Cultivated meat company Ivy Farm Technologies and UK food producer Finnebrogue have announced what they claim is a “world-first” partnership to develop and sell cultivated Wagyu beef burgers in the UK — once cultivated meat gets the regulatory green light. The collaboration aims to address the growing demand for meat with a sustainable alternative. Better Naked to Donate 50% of Vegan Garlic Kyiv Profits to Ukraine Relief Effort

UK plant-based brand Better Naked, owned by Finnebrogue, has announced that 50% of profits from its vegan Garlic Kyiv will be donated to the humanitarian effort in Ukraine. Better Naked has also renamed the product, formerly called the Garlic Kiev, in solidarity with the Ukrainian people. Chicken kievs originate from the Ukrainian capital, which was known as Kiev in the days of the Soviet Union but is now often spelled Kyiv at the request of the Ukrainian government. Better Naked’s vegan Garlic Kyiv contains a pea-protein-based chicken alternative covered in plant-based garlic butter sauce and coated in breadcrumbs. Costa Coffee Launches Vegan Bacon Breakfast Roll Across UK

British chain Costa Coffee is reportedly the fastest growing coffee shop chain in the UK and is a subsidiary of the Coca Cola Company. The chain is now to offer a Vegan Bac’n Breakfast Bap across the country, as first reported by Vegan Food UK. The new offering uses Irish brand Finnebrogue‘s Naked Bacon Without The Oink! as well as a vegan spread. Earlier this year Costa added more Vegan Society-approved sweet treats to its menu – including a chocolate slice from BOSH!.
