Registration Now Open for Leading Food Ingredients Trade Fair Fi Europe 2024

Informa Markets has announced that registration is now open for Fi Europe 2024, the trade fair described as the “leading global event for food ingredients”. The event will take place from November 19 to 21 in Frankfurt, Germany, at the Messe Frankfurt exhibition grounds. This year, the Food Manufacturing Technologies & Solutions area will be expanded, giving a larger platform to solutions that aim to make food production future-proof. BENEO Presents Authentic Vegan Chicken Chunks at Fi Europe

German ingredients manufacturer BENEO showcased vegan chicken chunks as the next step in the company’s vegetable protein strategy at the Fi Europe show yesterday.  Following the acquisition of Meatless BV at the beginning of the year, BENEO is expected to add the chicken chunks as a semi-finished product to its portfolio for the first time in the second quarter of 2023. Thanks to a special recipe and a patented production process, BENEO states it will offer manufacturers a highly scalable and effective way to join the plant-based shift. AGRANA is set to appear at Food Ingredients Europe, a leading trade fair for the food processing sector, to showcase a range of novel solutions for use in plant-based foods. ChickP, the Israeli food tech company specializing in chickpea protein, has introduced protein isolates customized for dairy-free ice cream. The company claims to have developed a creamy plant-based ice cream prototype that offers the full sensory experience of dairy.  ChickP states that its protein isolates will help manufacturers overcome the challenges of texture, flavour, and use of additives when making dairy-free ice cream. Ingredients show Fi & Hi Europe is set to attract over 20,000 attendees from more than 135 countries around the world when it returns to France from 6-8 December at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles.
